Thank you Mr. Pharraway. I got driver side of my Elco blocked. I got a few low spots. Minor. I figure one more attempt and finish the gallon of primer, n block one more time should be good. Thats for the minor low. If i run into a really low spot I can swipe a skim coat of glaze on it right? I dont wana go to bare metal right?

So I noticed you have some small pop issues it looks like on the fender. I constantly get that with the glamour clear and I cant seem to find the sweet spot with that clear to avoid them. Last time I sprayed that clear I used my prolite with a te20 cap and I think it was the best results I had, those craters were minimal. They seem to happen around the 3rd coat of clear for me, they always sand out. Just annoying is all.

I have been interested in this technique as long as I can remember, but never learned anything until now! Thank you Brother, this means a lot!👍

@PHARRAWAY can you explain to me what it takes to get this kind of result in a paint job. When I was a teenager their was a guy with a candy blue chrysler, and where I live Im used to seeing candy painted cars all the time so the first few times I saw it I thought nothing of it. One day Im taking the trash out and I had to walk pass the car to get to the dumpster. Up close I could tell this wasnt just some regular degulary paint job. When you look at his hood it was like looking through clean blue water at a beach. The flakes underneath shimmered like sand and it had a great amount of depth between the paint and the silver flakes underneath. It was literally like looking at water i cant explain it any other way.

Great videos. Lots of great information. Your previous videos on sanding for flow coat you do not show using the Scotch brite. Why is that step needed? Also isn’t the red scotch brite roughly 400 grit?

The British do it all the time. I think they have to use different ratios though.

How much % humidity is too much? I’m guessing tropical storm where you are, I’m guessing southern USA, is just too much.

Yes I wouldn't either I would be having issues touching up a burn through and having more orange peel to deal with.
